Dr David Irons provides a general cardiology service and treatment of all adult cardiology conditions. Dr Irons has regular sessions in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory at Cabrini and visits the hospital on a daily basis. Dr Irons has a special interest in chest pain, heart attacks, coronary angiograms and stents. Dr Irons also have affiliations with Western and Sunshine Hospital.

Consulting days: Alternate weeks, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Dr Friedman is a Consultant Physician, specialising in non-intervention Cardiology, including the diagnosis and management of patients who have Acute and Chronic Ischaemic Heart Disease, Hypertension, Heart Failure, Hyperlipidaemia and Arrhythmias. Dr Friedman has affiliations with Cabrini Malvern and Brighton as well as Holmesglen Private Hospital.

Archer Broughton is currently Deputy Director of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine and Head of the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratories at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne.
. He did his basic cardiology training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney before moving to the Baker Institute to study the effects of LV hypertrophy on canine myocardial function under Prof Paul Korner. He has worked as full-time cardiologist at The Alfred since 1987. He also has visiting rights at Cabrini hospital where he has a regular session for device implantations.

Consulting day: Thursday

Dr. Adel is a non-invasive imaging and general cardiologist, specialising in echocardiography, stress testing and coronary CT angiography. Alex graduated from Monash University, and finished his cardiology training with an imaging Fellowship at Austin Health. Special interests include heart failure, valve disease, and multi-modality cardiac imaging.
